Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Our Terms

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “the customer”) and OBB Mobile Car Valet (“we”, “us”, “our”).

 

These Terms govern your use of our services, including mobile vehicle valeting and detailing (“Services”), and any associated online presence or booking systems operated by OBB Mobile Car Valet.

 

By booking our Services or allowing us to carry out work on your vehicle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

 

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of our agreement with you.

2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

 

To book or use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement

• Not be prohibited from using our Services under any applicable law

 

3. Mobile Valeting & Detailing Services

 

A. Bookings & Booking Fees

 

A 10% booking fee may be required to secure your appointment. This booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you cancel or fail to attend your appointment, the booking fee will be forfeited.

If we need to cancel your booking, we will offer a rescheduled appointment at the earliest availability.

 

B. Personal Belongings

 

You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before the service begins.

OBB Mobile Car Valet accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.

 

C. Vehicle Condition & Pricing

 

All advertised prices are “from” prices and are based on a vehicle of average size and condition.

We reserve the right to assess the vehicle on arrival. If the condition differs significantly from what was described at the time of booking, we will inform you of any additional charges before commencing work.

 

D. Access to Utilities

 

Access to a water supply and electrical supply is preferred to carry out services efficiently.

We can carry our own water, but this is limited and typically suitable for a maximum of two vehicles per booking.

 

E. Pre-Service Vehicle Assessment

 

A visual inspection of the interior and exterior will be carried out prior to starting work. Any pre-existing damage, wear, or defects may be noted.

 

F. Heavy Soiling & Additional Charges

 

Vehicles with excessive dirt, heavy mud, pet hair, mould, vomit, bodily fluids, or severe staining will incur an additional charge.

You must inform us at the time of booking if any of these conditions apply to avoid delays or unexpected charges.

 

G. Payment Methods

 

We accept payment by:

• Card

• Bank Transfer (BACS)

• Cash

 

H. Payment Due

 

Payment in full is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.

 

I. Invoicing & Late Payment

 

Invoices will be issued electronically where applicable. Payment must be made within 7 working days of the invoice date.

Late payments may incur a 10% charge per outstanding week.

 

J. Rescheduling by OBB Mobile Car Valet

 

If we need to reschedule due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, your booking fee will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment.

 

K. Client Cancellations

• More than 24 hours’ notice: booking rescheduled at no additional cost

• 12–24 hours’ notice: booking fee forfeited

• Less than 2 hours’ notice or no-show: full service cost payable

L. Insurance

 

OBB Mobile Car Valet is fully insured for mobile valeting and detailing services.

 

M. Location Restrictions

 

For insurance and safety reasons, we cannot operate on public roads or public car parks.

A private driveway or secure shared drive must be available. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a suitable location is provided.

N. Alternative Arrangements

 

If you are unsure whether your location is suitable, please discuss this with us prior to booking. We will try to accommodate where safely and legally possible.

 

O. Care & Liability

 

While every effort is made to treat your vehicle with the highest level of care, OBB Mobile Car Valet cannot be held responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage

• Mechanical or cosmetic faults that become apparent during cleaning

Our total liability shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.

 

4. Intellectual Property

 

All branding, logos, text, images, and content associated with OBB Mobile Car Valet remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

5. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

 

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion if:

• Conditions are unsafe

• Information provided is misleading

• Payment terms are not met

• These Terms are breached

 

6. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold OBB Mobile Car Valet harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our Services.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OBB Mobile Car Valet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income or vehicle downtime.

 

8. Changes to Services & Terms

 

We may amend our Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

10. Marketing Communications

 

By providing your contact details, you agree to receive occasional service-related or promotional communications. You may opt out at any time.
